Come early, visit the galleries or the many
other venues open during the afternnoon, take a harbor cruise
or dine downtown, then enjoy the concert.
The event is
hosted by First Fridays. This program is supported in part by a grant
from the New Bedford Cultural Council, a local agency which is
supported by the Massachusetts Cultural Council, a state agency. First
Fridays New Bedford produces and promotes entertainment and the arts,
with performance venues in New Bedford's historic downtown--and beyond.
First Fridays New Bedford expects to bring many visitors and local
residents together into the heart of the city, to enjoy memorable
cultural activities on the First Friday of each month. Info:

businesses, organizations, and individuals we can make New Bedford THE place to be on the First Friday of
every month.
Your efforts in
promoting and supporting entertainment early on the first Friday of
each month, with early street entertainment, a moving block party,
festival openings, complemented by special dining events, cinema
premieres, theatrical opening nights and performances, and new openings
at various galleries will continue to make New Bedford a growing
attraction.
